How To Improve Your Hubscore With More Traffic

Why This Hub

Okay, after roughly 6 weeks with the HubPages community, I found that I was searching high and low and reading up all the information about hubscore. Well, shouldn’t I be creating hubs and contents instead?

I am not because I saw my hubscore moving up and down between 70-79 points throughout this period and it can’t seem to break through the 80 barrier.

So, after going through all the information that I can find, I discovered that there are far too many equations and calculation about Hubscore and seriously, I don’t think anyone is able to point out which factor is more importance than the other.

At least for Google PageRank or searching engine ranking, we know how to go about to obtain the result we want, but, for HubScores, all that are mentioned is create unique content, good quality hubs, amount of traffic to your hub, number of thumbs-up votes from unique users, interact in the community, comment etc

So, is that all? And which factors is more important?

Question: I found some new hubbers who are able to reach 85 points and above and surely, those hubs that they made are not of the best quality. However, I do discover that they are able to produce something likes 1-2 hubs per day, and that make me wonder if putting up contents daily will improve your hubscore.

Answer: Reading through HubPage FAQ seems to say NO.

That lead me to think that one important factor might be TRAFFIC.

Why HubScore is Important?

If you think that there is nothing important about Hub score, then, obviously you are wrong.

Some people built hubs with the intention of providing valuable backlinks to their own websites and the problem here is, if your hubscore is below 75, then, the links in all your hubs become no-follow.

With no-follow, that essentially meant that there will be no link love being passed and those who have been building contents for HubPages are simply wasting their time as those hubs that they created won’t help their Google SERPs ranking.

How To Improve HubScore?

I don’t know.

Yes, you read it. I don’t know. Called me a sucker or whatever, the truth is, I seriously don’t know.

I was here for only six weeks and from what I have read in all the hubs about hubscore, it sound to me that the number one factor is traffic. If you are able to get huge traffic, it will help to improve your score.

I think over it and it sounds logical because on a bigger scale, traffic is the number one factor that can decide success or failure of any website and coming to hubpage, it should be the same as well.

So, I decide to create this hub with the purpose of doing a small experiment to test if traffic can dramatically help to improve the hubscore.

How?

With the catchy title that I put up for this hub, I believe there are many fellow newcomers who are looking at how to improve their hubscore and surely, they will get attracted to it and read this hub, which will bring a big traffic to this hub.

What Next?

I would like to apologise to whoever reading this hub. If you are looking at how to improve your hubscore, at this moment, I won't be able to tell you now.

I will wait and see how this hub performs and if it is able to affect my hubscore. After that, I will probably edit and update this hub with the result of this experiment.

Till then.

I just reached 100 in my profile score and have reached 100 for my hubs before and after 7 months I still don't know how it works - and I don't have plans of finding out now or later. But maybe I'll get back to you for updates on this hub. :D

Thanks for commenting, Cris.

Actually, I have been able to maintain a hubscore of 80 and above after publishing this hub. I think I may have found a way to do that, hopefully.

Great hub, I guess we can link our hubs to other things that we have on the internet? That is all that I know to do to help and maybe it will raise the score if you get more views? Well, I wont worry about it. I will just keep going and see what happens. Thanks for the great reading material!
